UK Studio Codemasters, the creators of such titles as Overlord and Rise of the Argonauts, has decided to completely shut down their American marketing operations. The decision came after poor sales of their recent games, specifically Dirt II, forced them to reevaluate their position in the U.S. Codemasters will now focus their energies and money on their internal studios in the UK.
Fortyseven Communications will continue handling Codemasters' American interests for the next few months.
