Whether you agree or disagree over Final Fantasy IX being the best in the series, there's no denying that it had its unique cast of characters. Now, those fond memories of the ninth game in the Final Fantasy series will soon be in a downloadable format. After weeks of teasing, Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada confirmed during a brief Twitter video that Final Fantsay IX would be released on the PlayStation Network. Final Fantasy VII and VIII have already graced Sony's online network, so it was only a matter of time before the ninth game in the series was due for treatment. Now, we'll be waiting patiently for Final Fantasy III (VI for you hardcore fans) to get its PSN release. Sony, you better be listening!
