The open beta for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XIV goes live on Tuesday at 7 PM Pacific time. Square-Enix had promised an early September release of the beta, but they appear to be ahead of schedule. This bodes well for gamers, as it indicates that the game is on track to launch for the PC on September 30th and the PS3 sometime next March. So all of you Final Fantasy fans get out there and jump on this beta. Hopefully the end product will be something we can all enjoy.
