Last night on Jimmy Fallon, Cliffy B officially announced Gears of War 3 on the Xbox 360. This was no real surprise to anyone, but we're excited none the less. Along with the announcement came the official Gears of War 3 trailer titled "Ashes to Ashes," which reveals some new weapons, characters and enemies. Also, this game will feature 4 player coop with Dom, Cole, Baird and a "variety of other characters." The story is set 18 months after Gears 2 and the trailer shows a location called "Char." The game is set to launch in April of 2011.
