We here at Gameshoe tend not to discuss our musical likes and dislikes; it just gets in the way of discussing the real problems in the gaming world. Still, when we hear that once-nu-metal now alternative-metal band, Linkin Park, is developing an iPhone game, we start to get worried. In the game titled Linkin Park: 8-Bit Revolution, you control chibi-style avatars in order to fend off an evil corporation. If that doesn't sound Linkin Park-related, then I don't know what does.
The game looks quirky, but kind of appealing in a sense. Although, I don't expect to play all the way through this game, Linkin Park is offering a free new track titled "Blackbirds" for beating the game.
