Microsoft sues third party peripheral company Datel

Microsoft has filed a lawsuit against British gaming peripheral company Datel this week on the grounds that they are infringing on six Microsoft design patents concerning a wireless controller currently in production by the the company. 

Microsoft is seeking compensatory damages and payments of royalties or profits made by Datel through selling these controllers. Microsoft  also asked for an injunction to stop production of the controller. 

The patents violated are US Patents: D521015; D522,011; D547,763; D581,422; D563,480; and D565,668
