I enjoy my PS3, there are a lot of things about that I really do think that Sony does well. There are also some things that I think they messed up on (3 firmware updates a week). One of these would be the way they handle charging their controllers.
If you don't have a PS3 let me be the first to tell you, you can't charge a Dualshock while the system is off with the standard mini-USB cord they give you, which is only 6 inches long. Not only do you have to sit 10 inches from your TV if you wish to charge and play, but you also have to find a place to set your controller while it charges. Sony is hopefully fixing these problems.
There have been third party options for this but for those who want everything Sony, this April will release an official charging stand that will hold two Dualshocks in it. Problem is that they've only announced in in Japan. They're also releasing a new color of Dualshock on that day, "Candy Blue" for those who need a little color in their life. Let's hope that Sony decides to bring this stateside so that I don't have to deal with this charging problem anymore.
