The pre-E3 updates giveth and then taketh away, folks. Valve has announced that Portal 2, the follow-up the popular first-person shooter/puzzler, won't make its intended Holiday 2010 release. The developer and Aperture Sciences explained (in a humorous way, we guess) that the reason behind the delay was because of "safety concerns." That's a good one, Valve, but some gamers are still upset. This news comes near the rampant rumors of a surprise Valve announcement at E3. Valve has stated on many accounts that the surprise will not be Half-Life related. We'll have more on Valve and Portal 2's delay as E3 2010 approaches.
