I don't know about you, but I was a little disappointed in this year's Super Bowl commercials. But one that got me excited was the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time trailer; producer Jerry Bruckheimer's adaptation of the long-running video game franchise. Much was shown in the 30-second bit, but all we know is that it will be high on action and Sir Ben Kingsley appearances.
I may be skeptical on this one, but given the star power involved in this film, we may see a decent flick on our hands. Will Bruckheimer and Disney's attempt to wash away the bad taste from previous video game to movie adaptations finally be erased? We'll have to wait til May to find out.
