With over $6000 in games and consoles in their keep, the thieves escaped into the night in a late-model white minivan—hardly an urban tactical vehicle worthy of Black Ops employ, but effective enough nonetheless.
“Black Ops,” which is set for a released on the 9th, is already far surpassing the pre-order numbers Modern Warfare 2, which debuted around the same time last year, and grossed over $1 billion by January. This newest CoD game is projected put up numbers similar to that of its predecessor, making it one of the highest grossing games of all time; it is no wonder why these thieves were so eager to get copies of it.
Police are asking anyone that is offered a copy of the game prior to the midnight release to immediately report it to the sheriff’s department, however I suspect they will be too engrossed with the campaign to worry too much about where the copy was obtained from.
