Get them rumors and allegations ready ladies and gentlemen, it's your weekly dose of Gameshoe rumor mongering.

So incase you haven't heard, Nintedo's sales of their money printing machine are starting to fall, which some thought would never happen. Seeing as how the 3DS is just on the horizon, and we all know that Nintendo has a thing for making a splash, could another console be coming?

The Wii as we know it launched in 2006 which if we waited until November of this year would give it a 5 year life span, which about fits Nintendo's cycle. And why not announce a new hot console and give a release date for this holiday season so people can get a Wii 2 and a 3DS for christmas?

I smell something here and I think that it's Nintendo's impending profit margins. If they announce another Wii with another innovation, that puts them way ahead of Microsoft and Sony as far as their console cycles go. Lets just hope it has HD graphics this time.

I want to say they won't do it, because it's the wrong time and everyone knows it. But Nintendo has a pretty good knack for doing things at exactly the wrong time.
