Rumors of Nintendo's newest handheld device are becoming rampant as the company's E3 keynote approaches. According to IGN, the 3DS' processor may rival that of current generation consoles such as the 360 and PS3. The popular gaming and technology site reports that developers have already tinkered with the 3DS in its current form. IGN states that the "processor exceeds far past the Nintendo Wii and that it brings it closer to the current HD consoles," but it won't include an NVIDIA chip set. Although, this is all speculation folks, so give the benefit of the doubt. The possibilities of this type of handheld are sketchy, but it's not impossible for a device to pack this much punch during a current generation (i.e. the PSP). Stay tuned during E3 for more on the 3DS
