The trailer for Shadows of the Damned was released today at the Tokyo Game Show. Produced by EA and developed by Grasshopper Studios, it brings Third Person shooting action back to the survival horror genre. You may think to yourself, well this sounds a lot like Resident Evil, and you actually wouldn’t be too far off. This is the first game since Resident Evil Creator Shinji Mikami and No More Heroes Designer Goichi Suda came together as one force of Awesome. One would know Resident Evil for its survival horror gameplay over the shoulder cam which is actually a pretty recent creation, while Suda is known for his craziness and over-the-top violence in No More Heroes. From the trailer, it seems to fuse the two together, and it just looks like the two should have never been apart. The only question is: Can I buy it now? The Answer: Not till 2011.
